PADI open water diver
from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
During the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) course, you will learn the fundamentals of safe scuba diving, explore diving equipment, and practice essential diving techniques. You’ll also gain the knowledge needed to plan and execute open-sea dives.
The course includes five theory lessons and four open-sea dives in Sharm El Sheikh. It concludes with a theoretical exam. The course typically lasts 2-3 days.
We offer transportation from your hotel to our diving center, located on the seashore in Sharks Bay—renowned as the best diving spot in the area—and back.
Our diving center is staffed by highly skilled professionals with extensive teaching and diving experience.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum age: 10 years (PADI Junior Open Water Diver).
- Participants over 58 years of age require a doctor’s approval, which can be obtained on-site from a specialist in Sharm El Sheikh.
- A medical examination is not mandatory, but diving requires good health. Serious conditions such as cardiovascular, pulmonary, sinus, and ear diseases, epilepsy, claustrophobia, or mental illnesses are contraindications.
The PADI Open Water Diver certification allows you to dive to a depth of 18 meters. Upon successfully completing the course and exam, you’ll be registered in the PADI Worldwide System and receive a personal account, granting you the ability to dive globally.
After completing this basic course, you can immediately enroll in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) course, which qualifies you to dive up to 30 meters.

The legal system of Egypt in the field of tourism is very strict. For any excursion, a special permit from the tourist police is required every day, and without a license they would not be issued to us.
For all excursions, we will pick you up from your hotel at the central entrance (main gate).
Our car park has a variety of vehicles (cars, jeeps, large buses and minivans). All vehicles are equipped with safety systems and air conditioners.
All vehicles undergo regular sanitary and technical maintenance and have the required permission from the tourist police.
We accept cash in British pounds, euros, US dollars and Egyptian pounds.
Some excursions must be paid in advance: flights, private tours, or in case of large groups of people.
Some excursions can be paid in person when you are picked up from the hotel, but only in cash.
If you prefer to pay by card, through a terminal, you need to arrange with us in advance – we can come to your hotel or you can visit our office.
Please provide us with the following information:
– The name of the excursion you are interested in.
– The number of people who will join the excursion.
– The name and room number of the hotel where you are staying.
– A passport photo of the “first page” of all the participants (required for insurance purposes).
